Men's Chunky Turtle Neck Sweater - Made in Great Britain

A modern fitting twist to our classic Submariner sweater, this set in sleeve version has a slimmer profile through the shoulders, arms and body. Soft, cosy and made from 100% chunky merino, this winter polo neck jumper will see you through those colder times.

Length of size medium is 71cm +/- 1cm with each size

  • True to size, regular fit
  • Ecru - Chan is 6ft (182cm), chest size 40" (101cm) and wears medium for a fitted look
  • Navy Melange - Earl is 6ft 2 in (188 cm), chest 39" (99 cm), and wears a size Medium.
  • Black - George is 6ft 2" (187cm), chest size 38" (96cm) and wears medium for a regular fit
  • Green - Freddie is 6ft 1" (185cm), chest size 40" (98cm) and wears medium for a regular fit

  • Pilling may occur on the first few wears. Remove gently using a depilling comb; do not pull
  • Hand-wash (30°C max) in tepid water with a specialist wool detergent or baby shampoo
  • Gently press out the excess water, take care not to stretch or wring the fabric
  • Lay the item flat to dry in its natural shape
  • Do not tumble dry. Never dry on direct heat or radiators
  • To refresh your knitwear gently steam between wears
  • Alternatively, dry clean

We source our chunky merino from Peru and our extrafine and superfine merino is supplied by industry favourites Zegna Baruffa (Est. 1850), Papi Fabio (Est. 1890) and Lanerossi (Est. 1817).

This piece is made in our Leicestershire factory by experienced knitters working at the centre of England’s long-established knitwear industry. The site has been integral to the development of our wool and cashmere collections, where attention to finish and consistency is essential.

Because we own and run the factory ourselves, we are closely involved at every stage of production. This hands-on approach allows us to control quality and materials, resulting in knitwear made in England that is built to last and offered with a clear, direct connection to the factory floor.

"I bought this gorgeous submariner rollneck because I’m a fan of heavy, high-quality garments, and also because it’s handmade (in England 😍). The quality is amazing and it feels incredibly warm. The fitted version has a great cut. I ordered a size L (I’m 196 cm tall, of average build, with arms approx. 67 cm long) and it fits perfectly! The advice from customer service was also brilliant and very helpful, and the order arrived very quickly here in Germany. I’m looking forward to ordering from them again. The rollneck goes perfectly with my old Land Rover Defender. ☺️"

You get what you pay for

"I bought 4 of these - one in each colour - because I love the long body and traditional inspired design. The smooth, structured look in the photos are exactly as they arrive. You do get a year of them looking like this, but after that they do bobble a lot. The roll top also looses its shape and becomes baggy. So they’re still fine to wear but as more of a well worn looking comfort sweater. I got compliments when they are new, but not now as I only wear them in the house! I’d prefer spending a little more to have something that holds its shape and look good for longer"
