Midweight 100% Cotton Workwear Gilet

The Sawyer gilet has a substantial 640-gram midweight feel while remaining breathable and comfortable through the changing seasons. It is an easy layer for everyday wear, travel and time outdoors.

A dense full Milano knit gives the cotton structure and stability, creating a clean, boxy silhouette with a back that falls slightly longer than the front. Workwear-inspired angled patch pockets bring character and practical storage, joined by a secure internal buttoned pocket. A ribbed baseball collar, finely finished armholes and self-finished hem keep the construction simple and considered. The full-length zip is sourced from Italy for a dependable finishing detail.

Size Medium measures approximately 68.5 cm in length and 53.5 cm across the chest. Length changes by approximately 1 cm per size and chest width by approximately 3 cm per size. The back is shaped to sit slightly longer than the front.

  • Although cotton will stretch when worn, washing it will return it to its original shape
  • Machine wash using a gentle 30°C on a low spin or 40°C for heavy stains
  • If hand-washing, rinse thoroughly in tepid water with a mild detergent
  • Ensure any excess water has been removed to avoid stretching
  • Smooth the garment back into shape and dry flat on a towel
  • Dry naturally, away from sunlight
  • Never dry on direct heat or radiators
  • Iron your knitwear inside out while slightly damp to preserve its shape
