High-Performance Baselayer Pants

Designed to eliminate all cold, our Athena full-length, fitted high-waisted leggings are made from the finest Italian merino, with perforations around the knee and ankle and an elasticated waist for extra comfort.

Named after the Greek Goddess of wisdom, these midweight (180g) thermal leggings offer a practical base layer for extra warmth when needed. Perfect for all outdoor activities or overnight camping, the thermo-regulating properties of the merino enable it to adapt to your body's temperature, cooling you down when warm by wicking moisture away from the skin and keeping you protected from wind chill.

Please note these leggings will appear sheer when worn and are not designed to be worn alone.

Pilling may occur on the first few wears. Remove gently using a depilling comb; do not pull
Hand-wash (30°C max) in tepid water with a specialist wool detergent or baby shampoo
Gently press out the excess water, take care not to stretch or wring the fabric
Lay the item flat to dry in its natural shape
Do not tumble dry. Never dry on direct heat or radiators

Exceptionally fine and naturally intelligent, merino wool is prized for its ability to regulate temperature while remaining soft against the skin. Designed by nature to adapt, it provides warmth in cooler conditions and breathability when temperatures rise.

We source our chunky merino from Peru and our extrafine and superfine merino is supplied by industry favourites Zegna Baruffa (Est. 1850), Papi Fabio (Est. 1890) and Lanerossi (Est. 1817).
