  • Russet - Lauren is 5'7" (170 cm), a UK size 8, and wears a size Small.
  • Midnight - Lais is 5'9" (175 cm), a UK size 8, and wears a size Small.

Length: 58 cm (+/- 1 cm per size)
Chest Width: 52.5 cm (+/- 3 cm per size)

  • Although cotton will stretch when worn, washing it will return it to its original shape
  • Machine wash using a gentle 30°C on a low spin or 40°C for heavy stains
  • If hand-washing, rinse thoroughly in tepid water with a mild detergent
  • Ensure any excess water has been removed to avoid stretching
  • Smooth the garment back into shape and dry flat on a towel
  • Dry naturally, away from sunlight
  • Never dry on direct heat or radiators
  • Iron your knitwear inside out while slightly damp to preserve its shape

Named after the Cornish word meaning "elm tree", Elowen reflects a love of time spent outdoors and the quiet beauty of the natural world. Inspired by woodland walks, changing seasons and the rich textures found in nature, it's a versatile layer you'll reach for throughout the year. Knitted from 100% cotton in a lightweight double-layer quilted knit, it feels soft, breathable and comfortable whether worn over a t-shirt, shirt or your favourite lightweight knit.

The quilted texture takes its inspiration from woven seersucker, creating subtle depth with a beautifully soft handle. A flattering V-neck, natural buttons and two angled patch pockets give Elowen an easy, relaxed feel, while fine tubular trims around the neckline, placket and hem provide a clean finish.

This piece is made by skilled knitters in our family-owned factory in Navsari, using the same standards and oversight as our British production. As the home town of the Paul James family, Navsari has long been central to our expertise in fine knitwear.

By owning and operating the factory ourselves, we retain full control over quality and materials, resulting in well-made knitwear designed to last and priced fairly, straight from the factory floor.
