Consider These Pieces

Merino Wool Yarn

Exceptionally fine and naturally intelligent, merino wool is prized for its ability to regulate temperature while remaining soft against the skin. Designed by nature to adapt, it provides warmth in cooler conditions and breathability when temperatures rise.

We source our chunky merino from Peru and our extrafine and superfine merino is supplied by industry favourites Zegna Baruffa (Est. 1850), Papi Fabio (Est. 1890) and Lanerossi (Est. 1817).

Nice bit of kit, unfortunately

"Nice bit of kit, unfortunately holes formed around all label stitches almost straight away, disappointing when you’ve paid that much."

Peter W. (3/5)

Great for skiing

"Perfect for skiing. Prefer merino for skiing and this looks sleek"

Pat (5/5)

Cracked at the back

"I really like the mask; the quality is great. However, the second time I wore it, it cracked at the back without much stretching, resulting in a hole, unfortunately."

Nina S. (4/5)

Would recommend for skiing

"Good design with the contoured head shape so it doesn't fall down. Merion is very soft. Only down side is the the small hole pattern doesn't quite cover the nose and mouth"

Will (5/5)

So good I bought three!

"Well made. Thin so easy to wear under a jacket. Size is accurate!"

David M. (5/5)

"I bought this over a balaclava due to the thickness of my hair to wear in a cold climate. It was tricky to get in place and the mouth piece got so wet when breathing, it froze, thankfully I bought a way cheaper neck buff that I could replace this with before my face got too sore. Not the quick drying moisture wicking I was expecting. Really disappointed with this purchase."

Anonymous (1/5)

Exactly as Described

"Does exactly as described, no real test yet against cold but appears it would be effective against winter wind and cold."

Gary M. (5/5)

Great quality and luxurious feel

"Great quality and luxurious feel as always with Paul James"

Jake F. (5/5)

Just what I was looking

"Just what I was looking for, love the material and snug fit, no hassle delivery and usual top service from PJ hence the 5 stars Will remain a customer"

Philip R. (5/5)

winter warmer

"Well fitting and well made, I'd have like the bottom flaps to have been a bit longer so that they tuck under your top easier, and the wool is quiet a bit thinner than expected, but it still provides a fair bit of protection on a chilly winter walk."
